Things of the Other Kind

June 3, 2010

I saw the sun eat itself hollow. And watched the planets hang in the sky by a silk thread. I felt the intoxicating pain of separation and enjoyed it through and through. I loved an animal and received some in turn.

I lived a hundred years and followed the hugest dreams. I slept a success and failed somewhere in between. I swam in the oceans and danced on the mountains. I drank like a fish and smoked like a whore. I fell in love and out of it. I read a million stories and created a few of mine. I lived and I got tired.

And then, I knocked on Death’s door and it said, “There is time, still.”

Hey, too awesome lines. Good to hear when you are really alone. These lines can free you out from loneliness. You have described good short and sweet things about nature. We as human beings forget to see or feel all these things, and we try to feel them when we are alone or when we are upset.
And the last line of your post is mindblowing.

And then, I knocked on Death’s door and it said, “There is time, still.”…..This line speak volume.

    Good work.

Death may be an end to all; I said ‘May be’! Even if that ‘may be’ is not real truth, death is easy! To die is an act, which anybody or in that case, any living creature can do or are destined to do! But to ‘live’ is another story! Only those who ‘dare’ and ‘act’ (dear, acting is the true essence of life! Simple, straightforward acting!) can ‘live’ here; others only ‘exist’, that’s all!
My policy is ‘live’ and let others ‘live’; I really don’t know, whether it is good or bad!
